A private meeting at the chambers on Bath Road, Roseau. Preferred for matters requiring the exchange of original documents or sensitive discussion.

A reasoned written opinion on a discrete point of law, delivered within seven business days of receipt of the papers and fee.

Prepare for the first conference

What to bring to the table.

  • 01A brief written summary of the facts, in your own words
  • 02The names of any other parties and their advocates, if known
  • 03Any court documents you have already received or filed
  • 04Contracts, correspondence, or instruments relevant to the matter
  • 05Government-issued identification for verification purposes
  • 06A note of any court dates, limitation periods, or deadlines

Fee arrangements

Quoted plainly, in writing.

Hourly or retainer, quoted in writing after the first conference

Considered on a case-by-case basis

All fees are exclusive of court fees, filing charges, and disbursements, which are billed at cost. Written estimates are provided before work commences.
