Aussie Wash is an Attorney-at-Law admitted to practise before the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The chambers is regulated by the applicable rules of professional conduct of the Dominica Bar Association and by the general law of Dominica.

No attorney–client relationship

Such a relationship arises only upon the written acceptance of instructions by the chambers, following the completion of a conflict check and the execution of a retainer.
Until a retainer is in place, please do not send confidential, privileged, or time-sensitive information to the chambers.

Communications transmitted over the internet, including by ordinary email or through this website's enquiry form, are not guaranteed to be secure. Where confidentiality is paramount, please request an encrypted channel before transmitting sensitive material.

Conflicts of interest
Before accepting instructions the chambers conducts a conflict check against its existing and former clients. Where a conflict of interest is disclosed, or where the chambers considers it inappropriate to act, instructions will be declined and — where possible — an introduction made to a suitable colleague at the Bar.

Jurisdiction & choice of law
The chambers is instructed to advise upon and act in matters governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Dominica and the wider jurisdiction of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. Nothing on this website is directed at persons in any jurisdiction in which the publication or availability of these materials would be contrary to law or regulation.

The chambers collects only such personal data as is necessary to respond to your enquiry or to carry out its professional obligations. Data collected through the enquiry form (name, email address and message) is used to respond to and, where appropriate, act upon your enquiry.
Personal data is processed lawfully, fairly and transparently. It is not sold, licensed or otherwise disclosed to third parties except (i) as reasonably necessary for the conduct of a matter for which the chambers has been retained; (ii) to trusted service providers who process data on the chambers’ behalf under written obligations of confidentiality; or (iii) where required by law or an order of the court.

Data retention
Enquiry data is retained for such period as is reasonably necessary to respond and, where a matter is accepted, in accordance with the chambers’ ordinary file-retention policy and the rules of professional conduct. Data no longer required is securely deleted or archived.

Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by the chambers concerning you, and to object to certain processing. Such requests should be directed to the chambers by post or email at the addresses set out below.

Complaints procedure
The chambers takes complaints seriously. A client who is dissatisfied with the service rendered may make a complaint in writing to the advocate. Complaints will be acknowledged within seven business days and investigated with expedition.
Nothing in this procedure affects a client’s right to make a complaint to the Dominica Bar Association or to invoke the disciplinary process provided for by law.

Aussie Wash is admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Dominica and is a member of the Dominica Bar Association. The chambers is subject to the Code of Ethics of the Dominica Bar Association and to the general law of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Nothing on this website is intended as an advertisement or solicitation in any jurisdiction in which such publication would be prohibited or restricted by law or by the rules of the local Bar.
